Kevin Bowyer
Kevin Bowyer has won five international organ competitions (St. Albans, Dublin, Paisley, Odense and Calgary). He has performed throughout the world and released many compact discs. His 17-volume Bach cycle for Nimbus records is now available. Kevin’s friendly personality and informal manner, combined with his authoritative treatment of an extensive repertoire, have always drawn students. He teaches organ at the RNCM and RSAMD and is organist to the University of Glasgow. Despite his globetrotting career, Kevin thoroughly enjoys helping students of all standards, including beginners and restarters. He has a vast repertoire, with special insights into Widor, Vierne, Bach and contemporary music. He also enjoys advising composers planning to write for the organ.
